Princess Shabalala, from Soshanguve near Tshwane, works for Mbhuduma Business Solutions as a Marketing Officer. The company has been supported by the Foundation’s partner entity, Black Umbrellas, which develops small Black-owned businesses. This helps create employment in South Africa.
“As a communications graduate, this was the first company to give me a job, so I have learnt a lot from this experience,” Princess says. “I am now able to earn a living and help out at home. It has also laid a great foundation for my career aspirations,” she says. Princess helps the company with marketing itself.
“I have learned everything that relates to marketing and how to be dedicated to finishing tasks and how to communicate with clients.”
Princess would eventually like to establish her own business.
