Currently in its fourth phase of implementation, the Kagiso Shanduka Trust (KST) District Whole School Development Programme, a partnership between Kagiso Trust and the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation in collaboration with the Free State Department of Education, is operating in the Fezile Dabi and Motheo districts.
We recognise that to achieve excellence in education, a holistic approach has to be taken in addressing the needs of our schools. Implementation is in progress with 235 schools having attended retreat workshops and 2622 educators having received curriculum support. 184 new facilities have been built, including classrooms, ablution blocks, science laboratories, libraries, computer centers, maths centers, multi-media centers and sports facilities and visual screening of over 36 454 learners has been completed to date.
On 29 and 30 January 2018, KST in partnership with the Free State Department of Education, showcased infrastructure projects and renovations at the following schools in the Fezile Dabi district:

- Bodibeng, Kroonstad
- Phehellang SS, Parys
- Barnard Molokoane SS, Parys
- Kopenelang Thuto PS, Sasolburg
- Nkgopoleng, Sasolburg
