Through a partnership with The Academy of Aviation, Foundation entity Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust (CRET) supported 11 students to undertake a SAQA-accredited course in Tourism and Aviation. Ten of the students have since graduated and have received their Civil Aviation Authority licenses. The graduates have now begun internships at Lanseria International Airport and with ExecuJet Aviation Group.
CRET is committed to promoting alternative skills development routes in addition to university study. To date 295 students have been supported by CRET to study in diverse fields and 116 students have graduated.
