Whole School Development helps 100% pass in science

Feb 28, 2021 | News, News and announcements

The Foundation congratulates Eketsang Secondary School educator, Ms Patricia Kamusoko, on achieving a 100% pass rate by her learners in physical science in the 2020 matric examinations. The result surpasses even the high pass rates achieved in 2018 and 2019. Eketsang Secondary, in Katlehong, Gauteng, has been under Adopt-a-School’s Whole School Development programme for the past nine years.

This has included the renovation and equipping of the school’s science lab. Ms Kamusoko said the school did as well as it did because of this facility. Ms Kamusoko also responded with innovation to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching via WhatsApp with short video clips.
