Solar Buddy, an Australian non-profit organisation, donated 3 000 solar lights to Adopt-a-School as part of the 2018 Global Citizen campaign. The lights were sponsored by Flight Centre Foundation. Almost a thousand lights were donated to learners and staff at Ingweniphaphama, Lembe and Enhlanhleni primary schools. Learners who attended a Thari Christmas Party in December 2018 also received lights, as did Sengana Primary School learners in 2019.
