On 1 July Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust (CRET) hosted its Annual Student Awards as a virtual event.
The ceremony awarded graduates and beneficiaries from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Engineering as well as the Faculty of Science and Technology.
CRET also recognised its beneficiaries from its Youth and Skills Development programme: The Civil Aviation Authority of SA certification in Flight Attendant; Drone Pilot Licences and Fire Fighting Certifications.
Over 170 guests attended the virtual event including CRET beneficiaries, stakeholders, donors and board members and included highly enjoyable entertainment by Larry Soffer, the Magician and Mentalist. The event also included recorded messages from the Foundation’s Patron, President Cyril Ramaphosa, and its Chairperson, Dr Tshepo Motsepe.
