Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation was pleased to collaborate with the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA) to celebrate World Wildlife Day on 3 March with one of the biggest outdoor classroom days. Four hundred learners from 30 schools participated in a programme at a Durban beach to learn about marine biodiversity. They included learners from schools supported by Adopt-a-School. WESSA Treasure Beach is an environmental NGO that researches, develops and implements accredited and non-accredited environmental, ecotourism, education and youth development programs.
