Mr Matshela Seshibe
Matshela Seshibe career in 1992 as a Logistics Controller at Unilever, moving up the ranks to Factory Accountant and ultimately, Business Group Management Accountant based in London. He also served as a trustee of the Unilever Pension Fund. He joined SABMiller in 2003 as a senior executive in the Sales and Distribution function, culminating in his appointment as Area Manager in the Free State. In 2006 he joined Edcon as Operations Executive for North Region in the Discount Division. Upon the purchase of Edcon by a private equity company, Mr Seshibe joined Coca-Cola Sabco in 2008 as General Manager, later promoted to Managing Director for Coca-Cola Kwanza in Tanzania.
Upon his return to South Africa in 2012, he joined the Shanduka Group and was tasked with leading Coca-Cola Shanduka Beverages (CCSB) as Managing Director. CCSB won the award for the Company of the Year within the Shanduka Group in 2014. During that time, he served as a non-executive director for Coca-Cola Canners South Africa.
Mr Seshibe joined Tiger Brands in 2016 as Managing Director of the Bakeries Division. He currently serves on the Management Committee of the South African Chamber of Baking.
Mr Seshibe holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Wits University and a Master of Business Leadership qualification from the University of South Africa.
